This position is responsible for the corresponding Technical Manager – SEA to organize the projects, Conduct lab work, develop product prototypes, and generate desirable test reports to support customers in South East Asia to support the Coatings & Resins Business Line for JJING to initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities. Helps the Application Lab Manager coordinate with business stakeholders to troubleshoot technical problems from our suppliers or JJING products/solutions and generate desirable marketing tools & technical presentations/reports requested from ALL COUNTRY for the C&R business line.
· Establish a new concept/innovation product prototype and prepare a presentation to support the regional sales team.
· Evaluate JJING and Competitors’ products to support C&R Sales & Marketing team to establish valuable JJING technical information / technical presentation / technical leaflet report indicating the product’s benefit to persuade customers.
· Corresponding with principals to get the technical solution and support upon Sales Request
· Secure JebChem product reputation by inspecting all incoming product quality in the product specification.
· Investigate and troubleshoot client complaints and provide technical product guidance.
· Co-Visit customers with sales to support technical problems and identify customer requirements.
· Manage & control the application lab expenditure regarding the budget setting.
· Generate & maintain systematic desirable test reports/sample panels/sales tools in accordance with projects assigned.
· To support & prepare required materials for Technical Training / Seminars for Customers, Distributors, and Sales Teams throughout the region.
· Co-ordinate with third-party laboratory, university for analysis trial/experiment in case of no facilities in the in-house laboratory.
· Manage & maintain Raw materials / Chemicals / Consumable inventory up to date & comply with DIW regulations, including waste management.
· Establish & Continue Improvement and Lab Operation for related application tests
· To learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job.
• A university graduate in Chemistry or any other related field, a background in Coating and color science will be an advantage.
• Good visual color perception and color sense.
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills, strong Research & Development skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Familiar with ISO Standard working environment.
• Ability to work independently for Ink Formulation design.
• Good teamwork mindset.
