Initiate and develop the sales opportunities for the assigned activities in the Pharma and Personal Care Ingredients market. The Job rules in the new supplier, new customer, new products, and coverage to the whole Indonesia market.
Responsibilities
1. Achieve the sales targets as set by the Department Sales Manager and constantly maintain a high standard of customer service by active canvassing and cooperation with the total department team.
2. Present, demonstrate as applicable, the products and services to the customers by frequent and planned visits: by personal visits or accompanied by superiors and principals’ representatives as required.
3. Prepare quotations and proposals or cause quotations and proposals to be made and follow up aggressively by utilizing a proper customer tracking system.
4. Submit daily orders to Sales Support to prepare sales orders and delivery orders for delivery, liaise with customers on delivery schedule if necessary.
5. Monitor customers’ payment schedules, and collect payment from the customer if necessary.
6. Perform effective market penetration by generating a high number of inquiries from the market segment assigned and advise superior in due time of sales opportunities where special assistance is required to secure orders.
7. Report and update customer tracking/information system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using the approved department reporting system.
8. Present the company and project a level of professionalism consistent with the company’s standards when contacting customers.
9. Acquire sound product knowledge by keeping up-to-date with principals and other technical literature.
10. Be aware of customer needs, market trends, and competitive products and positioning by spending a majority of his time in the field.
11. Keep in high confidentiality information regarding the company’s confidential matters.
12. Observe proper professional behavior and attitude in executing one’s job responsibility.

- Bachelor of chemistry of pharmacy
- 3 years experience in ingredients for personal care industries
