To initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for Parts in Turf & Irrigation division, with special emphasis on growing the business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company for all market segments.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products, and to achieve the desired growth in business volume reflected in the sales and income budget.
- Prepare sales plans, forecast and secure orders
- Identify and establish new clients as well as new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration.
- Conduct regular visits to clients in order to maintain good rapport as well as to solicit feedback on the effectiveness of the products, services/support and other market information.
- Establish healthy client relations and provide efficient and effective service/support so as to maintain their confidence in the reputation of the products and services offered by the Company.
- Prepare product costing and to work out quotations for clients.
- Monitor customer’s order status and update regularly
- Ensure Customer’s order delivered correctly and timely
- Attend to clients’ complaints and inquiries with professionalism and integrity.
- Submit periodic sales reports and activities plan with the most updated order closing date to the Superior. Also to report problems encountered on a regular basis
- Ensure enquiries and projects are updated promptly and regularly in the CRM system.
- Gather market information so as to keep the superior updated on competitors’ movements and the Company’s position in the market
- Be conscious and receptive to clients’ needs, market trend and new products launched by competitors
- Attend all necessary projects site meetings when required in order to ensure smooth hand-over
- Responsible to ensuring all collections are within credit terms granted by the company.
- Establish good rapport with the service team and to liaise with them on the client’s needs
- Prepare quotations for submission to clients.
- Learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job
- Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned
- Responsible to comply with the Group's and Company's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and safe work procedures.
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in sales area
- Experience in heavy equipment or vehicle industry
- Possess negotiation skill, good communication skill and adaptable
- Good command in English both written and spoken
