The successful candidate for the role of Tax Executive is she/he that having a good understanding of the tax dispute process and tax reconciliation process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of WHT tax reconciliation between expense and WHT payable versus WHT objects to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct a thorough review of VAT tax reconciliation between sales VS VAT out & Prepop VS GL to maintain compliance and accuracy
- ensure timely and accurate monthly tax reporting to the tax office, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Ensure timely filing of all tax returns and payments
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for all transactions.
- Research tax issues and provide recommendations to business.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks through effective internal controls and processes.
- Support the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements.
- Prepare annual corporate tax reports and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
- preparing tax letter such as respond SPHP, Objection letter, respond SPUH, any other tax related letters.
- coordinate with consultant for TP doc preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/tax or related major
- At least 4-6 years of experience in taxation
- Experience in a tax consultant firm or public or public accounting firm or corporate tax is advantageous.
- Having a good knowledge of basic accounting
- Strong understanding of Indonesia tax laws and regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, and final tax)
- have tax certification (Brevet A & B) is preferred
- Proven track record of handling tax dispute (Tax audit & Tax Objection).
- Familiar with TP doc preparation process
- Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Office, SAP, and dealing with Business taxes is necessary.
- Have a good communication skill both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Have good analytical thinking, quality focus, and high accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
