This new sales engineer will cover the west region sales territory, a dedicated position for lifting products, especially warehouse trucks, docking equipment, and rentals. He will be responsible for a personal budget based on company targets.
JOB Responsibilities :
1. Reporting to (Area) Sales Manager
2. Execute standard sales functions such as sales prospecting, following up on sales leads, making sales presentations, assessing customers’ needs, submitting quotations, negotiating and offering solutions so as to secure orders to meet annual sales target.
3. Prepare quotations and tenders, negotiate terms & conditions such as prices, term of payment, liquidated damages, liabilities, delivery, specifications, etc and check all commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance prior to closing sales so as to ensure compliance with Levels of Authority and other relevant company policies. This includes participating in sales presentation meetings with customers to introduce, promote and sell company products and recommend solutions whenever necessary to help secure potential orders and increase sales growth.
4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of Project Specification Sheets (PSS) for each sales order in order to facilitate effective kick-off handover to Project Department in a clear and timely manner.
5. Liaise with Product Management & Team to check on progress of existing orders and coordinate with related party/department to keep track of timely delivery of all sales commitments to customers in accordance to signed contract so as to ensure smooth sales execution and meeting overall customer satisfaction
6. Complete documentation of sales visits, quoted opportunities and project data timely in the Customer Relationship Management (C4C) System, the Project Management databases respectively so as to ensure that such market and customer intelligence information are accurately captured for the purpose of doing market analysis in future.
7. Conduct market researches whenever necessary in order to determine markets needs and to keep abreast with new market developments and competitors’ activities.
8. Monitor the payment due dates for each account and thereafter follow up closely with customers to ensure timely collection of overdue payments in order to meet company’s objectives and timelines for Account Receivables.
9. Maintain relationship with customers by providing the necessary support, information, and recommending solutions and service improvements whenever applicable so as to build strong rapport and lasting working business relations.
10. Achieve personal yearly budget based on company setup.
